Scribbling...

I've found something that I wrote and 'refined' few years back... enjoy ;]
I wrote it thinking that if I ever wrote a romance novel - this poem would be something I would put at the begging as a reference to one of the character's words.

/Pilgrimage/

I wish for a love...
so true, so full and deep that will
make me worship every Inch
of my beloved Lover’s body
simply because it’s housing his precious being..

I wish for a love...
so deep (that)
the simple Though can terrify me
(can) thrust me into despair
and (make me) pray and wish
that it never came to exist,  to BE

If the cause of such a Love ceased to exist...
there wouldn’t be a thing I would fear anymore.
To light a match and burn the world
to make it scream
to make it wish itself to die
and make it so...
that it will look like the remnants of my soul which isn’t here anymore…

and I wouldn’t care -
like a World itself doesn’t care…

or (maybe) to leave the world and it’s sanity with it’s Saints...
and in whisper of the winds
rustle of the leaves
in the sun scorching heat
to leave this world and go on...
chasing your laugh and faint scent
to reach to you and never come close…
to chase the smile
to capture the scent
to freeze your warmth so it’s always with me
to lose myself so I could find you
or gaze at your shadow…

and if my wander doesn’t bring me closer
then let me take a graceful dancer’s (Death) offer
to throw away this heartbeat
this warmth
this air in my lungs
so that when they no longer chain me
I can continue my journey
hoping that at each new turn I may find you anew…

My Pilgrimage...
